Finding a Goldendoodle Breeder in the DC Area

My husband and I are located in Northern VA and are looking for a standard size goldendoodle.  We prefer apricot or red colors...anyone have a breeder recommendation??  Thanks!!

Kacie, the Doodle Kisses guidelines prohibit anyone recommending a breeder here in the forum. People can send you a message if you accept a friend request from them.

Personal recommendations don;t really mean much, though. I have seen people recommend known BYBs and puppy broker sites. Everyone loves their puppy and thinks he or she is the greatest, and since health issues generally don;t show up until a dog is 2 or 3 years old, a breeder recommendation from someone with a new pup just doesn't mean much in terms of the breeder being reputable or responsible. You want someone who does genetic health testing on the breeding dogs, and selects them for temperament, soundness of structure and health, rather than coats, colors and sizes.
