Just started and can see from my front yard and my baby is losing his mind. Running around looking out the window, and now hiding under the bed! Tried to hold him but he won't sit still.

Dogs will bolt from fireworks, so I am glad you are keeping your dog inside.  Believe it or not, I've found that certain kinds of classical music will keep Chance calm in this kind of situation.

Tonight, he listened to Celebremos el Nino--Mexican Christmas songs from the baroque period.  LOL, he has his seasons wrong, but remained fairly calm through the firework noise.

Three dogs and some fireworks in the neighborhood (yes, illegal), and we were watching the fireworks on TV from Washington and New York.  Two dogs did fine, but Harpo crawled back into my husband's closet behind the clothes basket, and stayed there until we all went to bed.  He is very sensitive to sounds and flashes of light from the TV.  He likes to watch TV but takes it all very personally.  Glad the fourth is over.

Neither of my girls like the sound and we have one more night of them around us.
