Our Rozee has pretty much worn down all her front teeth and I'm concerned that she isn't able to chew her dry kibble. She is on Orijen and is a total Foodie-Girl! She is nearly ten years old, has several medical issues including having SARDS (she's blind), most others are really just age related. She'll eat anything, or at least try to, and I want her around another ten years so I need to find what's best and easier for her to eat. I've tried " soaking" the kibble but it seems to take forever to soften up. Suggestions will be greatly appreciated

I prefer to discuss food issues in The Food Group, but for what it';s worth, most dogs don't really chew their food anyway, and what chewing they do isn't done with the front teeth. Most seniors do fine with kibble. All of mine have. Jack is past eleven and doing fine with his kibble. My last girl made it to 16 on kibble. Orijen does make a senior formula, too. Is Rozee having trouble eating?

My daughter has  a tiny dog that is a rescue - she has terrible teeth and many have had to be pulled already.  The vet suggested that she feed her smaller kibble - and that is only because she is a tiny dog.
