Food Grade Diatomaceous Earth for Dogs

I am about to bring home my first puppy, an 8 week old Goldendoodle in 2 weeks and I've been reading about the benefits of Food Grade Diatomaceous Earth: http://www.dogsnaturallymagazine.com/benefits-diatomaceous-earth/

Does anyone actively use this? If so, have you found it to be beneficial?

Congrats on your new family member. I've used DE successfully for fleas but haven't tried it for internal parasites.
