Researching diatomacoeus earth, food grade, has been very eye opening.
It kills fleas and ticks, it is safe, you can sprinkle it on your dog and their bedding and it will not harm them
I always hated putting the Frontline on my dogs and now have ordered and recieved. It also kills other bugs.
I live in Florida and we have lots of critters. I ordered it on Amazon and it was pretty cheap compared to Frontline.
Please research it and you will really be suprised at all it does. I am going to sprinkle it around the kitchen cupboards too, it kills roaches, which can be a problem down south.

you can dig a hole and bury the can three quarters of the way down or leave it on it's side. Just put it out at night and you'll have loads of the creatures in the morning...I HATE THEM
Years ago my DH and I would go out at night with a flash light and hunt them. One of us would pick them up with a trowel and the other would sprinkle salt on them and we would watch them shrink to nothing! Can't do it anymore.
If you leave some Beer in a can they crawl in and drown...they love Beer
Little boys love to torture slugs, lol. The kids next store were fascinated by them.
gross! then how do you dispose of them? trashcan?
also, do I have to bury the can? i cant dig up anything in the lawn because Z and B will smell the fresh dirt and try to dig it too
Joanna, look at the third page of this discussion, I posted there about putting "beer traps" in the garden using disposable cups.
was that a form of entertainment for you and DH or were you just trying to get rid of them?
Donna that is one huge slug! You could put a mini leash and collar on him and walk him around when you take Quincy. I bet Quincy and his slug would take some cute calendar photos :)
Ugh.
Ecchhhh! And if they crawl vertically up doors like this, the DE wouldn't help unless they had to go through it to get to the door.
HOLY CRAP THAT THING IS HUGE!!!! I would have needed a pair of Depends to get past that thing!
