Hi Everyone :) So Lani's feeling better, but she still has kind of loose stools. She's back on her normal food, but I have noticed she has a lot of gas. Can this be a sign of food sensitivity? I do have her and her sister on a somewhat limited ingredient diet, the Super 5 Mix Whitefish & Sweet Potato by Wellness, but should I consider changing her to the full limited ingredient line that they offer for food sensitivities? Rox gets gas too but she's a bulldog and not as bad as Lan.

Sometimes they need a few weeks to adjust to a new food. When I moved Riley to Orijen he had loose stools and gas for about three weeks but he settled down and all is totally normal now. I would advice giving it some time before you decide it's not the right food.
Thank you. I didn't think of it, but maybe because the vet had me change her food while her stools were very loose and then had me slowly change her back to her normal food, maybe it'll take her some time to readjust.
Joanie, as Nicky mentioned, it does take time for their GI tracts to get back to normal after a bout of diarrhea, meds, etc. I would give it some time.
Super 5 Mix is not really a limited ingredient food, but limited ingredients may not be the problem; if you're going to change her food, you might consider a grain-free formula. Lots of information on this in the Food Group.
