I was looking thru pet ads and found one for a Free Labradoodle. This is not my dog!! I promise nothing other than 150% support of my helping someone here adpot him. He will be surrendered to a KILL shelter if a home isn't found. Please don't let this happen.
Everything I know about this dog is from one post. I do not know these people or I would certainly have schooled them on caring for a doodle.
Post below:
"I just adopted my poodle yesterday and my husband was hesitant to adopt this beautiful labrador; however, the 2 yr old dog thinks he is an indoor dog and will not stay outdoor. He is up to date as I adopted him from the City shelter. He is 52lbs and is 2 yrs old. I really do not want to take him back to the shelter as I would rather find him a nice home. I also have a $50 voucher towards getting him neutered.
He is a wonderful dog! He is playful and seems obidient. Also, we noticed that when he has to "take care" of business, he scratches at the door and has been doing it outside. I guess that means he is housebroken, yet I do not like a dog of that size indoors and from the looks of it, he only wants to be inside. Now, I do not have enough yard for him otherwise would have him outdoors.

Really bad picture attached. I will call the owner and ask for better photos now.
I am driving from Dallas to Chicago on Friday and would be thrilled to deliver him anywhere on this route.

Something's not right there. After 1 day, they decided the dog is not for them? They don't want the dog indoors, and they can't have it outdoors, either?!? Where should it be staying then... hanging in the air?!?
Before I got Cassie, I spent an incredible amount of time reading ads on the Internet. I saw an ad for a free Yorkie. Sounded impossible, since they are so popular nowadays, with all the celebrities carrying the tiny things around. I decided to email, just for the heck of it. I said I was interested, asked if it was still available. Got an email back, asking me all these questions of the 'we'll-only-give-the-dog-to-a-good-home' type. I answered them. The next email said the dog was mine, and to send $100 for shipping. I replied 'no thanks'. I few days later, another email, telling me the dog is mine, I just need to send $125 for shipping. Who knows how many emails they were receiving, they forgot they'd already emailed me with $100 shipping fee, and I'd said no. I thought about reporting them - but WHERE???
