I am so happy this article popped up in my newsfeed..... I had just asked this question on here last week I think....... Though Jack is never walked without an EZ walker. I am going to have x rays done to be sure this isn't why he licks so much.

Another thought, do you have a treadmill at home? You could teach him to go on it and it might be a safer way for him to get good cardio exercise than alongside your scooter. It would be a good addition on the days you aren't able to walk him far. (My friend watched two dogs on retractable leashes get run over and killed by their owners who were running them alongside their golf cart a couple of weeks ago, so you can see why I'm a bit sensitive on this issue!).

Unfortunately for both of us, my treadmill broke.. I do need to buy another one because the only way I can walk with any pace or distance is when I am hooked up to my bi-pap which needs to be plugged in....
