Of course I totally adore Jack and think he is the cats meow.  One of the things that Jack does that drives me insane is after he is done eating or drinking, he goes onto my carpet and rubs his face each side up and down the carpet. If I don't stand over him and wipe his face with a napkin.. he heads straight for the carpet.

No one is allowed to eat on my carpets, wear their shoes or anything.. Yet here is my dog, using my carpet to wipe his face!!!!

What does your dood do that you wish you could change?

No one cares about spelling on DK!! Well, no one except Lisa! LOL!!! (She is currently watching the National Spelling Bee or whatever it is called and I think it has damaged her a bit... :)
Good thing no one cares I am a horrible speller.. Spell check makes it worse because I don't even have to think about how to spell a word, spell check just fixes it for me.
I love spell check too!! :)

Argh! SB is always trying to bring things into bed. She will pick up hard things like chewy toys, her new antler (which she loves) or kongs. Then she will go to jump up on the bed, and drop the toy/chew on the hard wood floors, which makes an awful loud noise. Then she will jump back off the bed to get it, and repeat, then give up and start smashing the thing around on the ground.* This always happens just as I'm nodding off to sleep, forcing me to get up and take whatever she has and find her something softer. You'd think I would remember to take away all hard things before bed, but nope. I don't. Maybe I'm the one with the annoying habit. *This pattern can also be repeated with the couch, while watching tv or surfing the net.

Another thing she does at night, just as I'm nodding off to sleep, is when she hears a sound outside she will bark at it, causing the kitty, who is usually kept outside my room at night, to scratch at the door and meow, causing SB to bark more. There's noghting I can do but let the kitty in, but then SB decides it's time to chase the kitty. So kitty goes back outside and we try again. the other night i got fed up and put SB in her crate in the living room and locked them both out of the  room. I had a good night's sleep.

She also gets a hold of paper things and shreds them up. The other day when I was in the shower she managed to get a role of toilet paper out of the plastic wrap without me noticing. There was a nice mess to clean up in the living room. She just looked at me as if to say "Surprise! - look what I did for you"

Minus the being on the bed part, Boca does the toy dropping too.  She LOVES to play with her hard bones by prancing around with them and then dropping them on the hard wood floor, letting them slide, pouncing on them, prancing around with them again and repeat!  It IS INDEED SO LOUD and obnoxious sounding.  Makes me wish we had carpet all over in those moments.  But when it's bedtime all bones and things that can be chewed or licked loudly are removed from their posession.
Indy will come up to me and just stare. For hours. He won't need anything, or even want to play (ok, not more than usual) but will just stare at me like I stole his favorite toy. It's funny, but kind of creeps me out.
I have to see a video of that!:) That sounds hilarious!:) I love it when dogs act creepy for some reason hahaha:)
Sedona is a big time starer too.  She waits until we've settled in for some evening TV, then the staring begins.  She'll stand in front of my husband's chair, front paws on his lap, back paws on the floor.  My husband then starts guessing what each stare is requesting - does she finally want her dinner?, does she need to go outside?, does she want "crunchies" (a bit of dry food)?  Often, I don't think Sedona even knows what she wants.  After she's run through the series of "requests", she ends the process by finding something in the house to steal so we'll do a trade (which means one final treat), and THEN we all settle down for the evening.
Geeze Jack does that too, he waits until I shut the tv off and roll over to go to bed and then walaa.. he gets off the bed and stares at me.. I can't decide if he was still watching TV or what he wants.. SO funny.
Ned is a morning doodle.  When HE decides it is time to get up, he grabs a toy, chortles, and walks all over those trying to sleep.  It is very funny and really, really annoying.
That sounds so cute but somewhat annoying:)
Jack does that to, I hate it, He waits and waits for me to stir and if I so much as roll over, he pounces and jumps on me and licks my ear!!! I am not a morning person so that does not go over to well with me.
