Gavin and the Shell Game

Baby its cold outside!  Not fit for man nor beast.  So it was indoor games day.  Here is a little video of Gavin playing the "shell game."

Wow! First try! He made it look so easy. Such a well behaved boy too!
Riley fails miserably at this game. I have given up trying. We stick to fetch and seek. My husband throws the ball in our basement, while Riley goes after the ball my husband hides. Riley grabs the ball then runs all over the basement looking for him. When she finds him he tries to get away. She runs after him and will whine if she can't catch him. They can play it forever. Not sure who has more fun! LOL

My slower paced version is to hide her green or blue ball then tell her to "find your green ball." She runs all over determined to find it. Unfortunately for her she can't track anything with her nose. She will stand right over her slobbery ball and not smell it.silly girl...

Fetch and seek are huge at our house too.  We play every day.  I would like to get Gavin to use his nose more too.  It would come in handy when I lose sight of his tennis ball in the snow in the park.  Maybe if I could get another dog to pee on it Gavin would find it lol.
