Gentle leader users help!

Hello! The gentle leader has helped us SO much with our pulling problem. The only thing is, yeti seems to really just dislike it a lot. We've almost been using it a month and he still isn't "used" to it. I don't believe it is too tight. It looks like he itches a lot when it's on. That or he is trying to get it off. He used to just let us put it on but lately is starting to run from us when he sees it.
Anyone have this problem? Did you stick it out and things got better. I really would like to continue with it but if it's hurting him I don't want to.

I'm feeling yeti will be a lifetime hater. We will still continue to work with him though so I guess we'll see. I tried the harness with him as well and his body didn't fit well into it so we went back to the snout one. He walks well on it 90% of the time. Every once in awhile he will sit down and I'll have to almost "force" (not really force more just a tug "let's go" kinda thing) him to come or he will lay down and itch his snout haha.

I use it with Daisy. She does not really like it but tolerates it. I alternate it with a martingale for walks. It has helped tremendously. I don;t think it is itchy they try to get it off. you just have to get walking, treat treat treat while walking with it on. I still give her a treat when she gets it on.

Try making sure the strap around the neck is nice and snug but loosen the snout strap. That has helped us at times.
