Giardia

I was told one week after I got my labradoodle that she had a Hernia, ear infections and Giardia. Now I worry all the time. I gave her a weeks worth of meds that the breeder sent with her and all that did was make her diarrhea worse, she still had Giardia. Now I am being told to give her safeguard an over the counter treatment. Had a woman in the pet store tell me that my breeder has to pay for all treatments, stool testing and vet visits relating to this and that it was a law. Is that true? Does anyone have any info on this? Worried in NH.

Yes, but this breeder sent a puppy home who had a hernia, ear infection, and giardia. IMO, that's unacceptable.
