Giving Back To Your Doodle Community. Thank a DK member who has made your doodle experiances better

We come here everyday to laugh, learn, love, and share. So many friends we have made!

Be honest, you may have been a savy dog owner before you came here--would you know how to laugh, learn, and love this much without DK?

Members share valuable information that make our lives with our doodles so much better.

TO KEEP THIS DISCUSSION GOING WE HAVE A NEW THEME
ANSWER THIS QUESTION:

WHO DO YOU WANT TO THANK ON DK FOR MAKING YOU LAUGH, LEARN, LOVE, AND SHARE?

You may post individual posts or a list. Nothing fancy or make it fancy.
Just a thank you will do.

It is time we give back to those members who answer our blog post when we desperately need help. Those who look at our silly pictures, answer our emails, and are just there when we need them. If you looked at the members working hard at the www.doodlerescuecollective.ning.com you will find those same people who have helped you. They NEED OUR HELP --GIVE BACK TO YOUR DOODLE COMMUNITY

We have until December 20th to vote. We have been in 8th place for a few weeks. We came so far. I am proud of all who have gotten us into the top 150 out of 4000 and the top ten in the State of NJ out of 50. You know how to vote, keep voting.

If anyone new needs help--write me and I will help you. Here is the link again.

What an apt description of Adina! and Karen.
Adina. Cam. Leslie. Lynne. Jac. Debbie. A & K's mom. Adie. Andy. Jane. Judi. Ally. Missi. Vanessa. Jeannine. Sharon. Liz. Susan. Penny. Jenn. Amy. Nancy. Gene. Lori. Dianne.
For friendship, support, laughter, good deeds, medical advice, knowledge, and mental health- Thank You!!!!
(Disclaimer: This is by no means a complete list. And if you're not sure if I mean you, I do)
Adina for creating this site and making it so home-town friendly and yet current. Clark for all of those behind the scenes contributions that we don't necessarily know about but appreciate - and for standing up to that guy who tried to upset the applecart, and especially for his wit and humor.
Karen and Jack for their health and nutrition knowledge and willingness to share.
Lynne Fowler and Jacquie Yorke - Doodle Rescue Collective.
Kendra of Noble Vestal Labradoodles for her grooming patience and nutrition knowledge.
People who have take the time and shouldered the responsibility of forming interest groups.
New long-distance friends who lend an ear for my gripes and advice when I ask, and compliment my doodle - who I think the world of (and bore non-doodle owners about)
What "upset the apple cart' guy.I'm intrigued.
There's been a couple upset-the-apple-cart-guys. Clark always eloquently steps in at the perfect moment! That's when he got a fan club. :-)
That's how the Clark Pearson Fan Club got started. This outrageous person, the son of a BYB, came in here and started bashing doodles. Clark was like a knight on a white charger. We started the CP Fan Club to thank him. I wonder if we can find that old discussion, or if it was deleted in its entirety for reasons of outrageousness.
Thanks, Karen and Missi.
Just for the heck of it--Do you ever thank your doodle verbally? Like they really know what you are saying. I find myself saying, " No, No, Drop it" and then saying "Thank you." or " Bring me the Ball" then your dog brings you the ball and you say, " thank you"
What about the Excuse me? Do you ever try to get around your dog and you find yourself say, " Excuse me." Like the dog knows what these things mean!
Are you kidding? I say "Excuse me", and "Thank you" to Jack about twenty times a day. Also "Please". How else would he learn good manners? I also ask him where I put my keys and what stocks he likes.
Jack does know what I'm saying, I'm sure of it. Now if he could just do better on his stock picks...
Thank goodness. I thought I was the only one who talks to dogs and tries to be polite. I have never asked Spud about stock picks. Do you want me to try asking him for you?
How about lottery numbers? I'm a Please, Thank You and Excuse Me kind of person, too. AND don't forget the "Bless you" when they sneeze and "wipe your paws" when they come in. Karen's right, we all need manners.
LOL. Yes, sneeze and wipe your paws too!
