Golden Doodle Coat Question

Hi guys, I have a question...Ollie is now 17 weeks old and I still cannot tell what his coat will be...It is different all over, he is an F1 gd. He certainly is not curley, he is sort of wavy, and the hair on the top of his head looks like it will be shaggy...I wish I could get a picture on here, but there is something wrong with my picture transfer thingy, lol...Need my son to come over here and see what is happening...Adina tried to help, but that didn't work either...Anyway, I keep looking at everyones dogs, and I am trying to envision what Ollie will look like when his baby fur is all gone...He is going to be a big boy that is for sure, he is tall and long legged too...Big paws....I was wondering if any of you had some pictures of your golden doodles at 4-5 mos old that you could send me, or place here for me to see...I was hoping that he would be full shaggy or full wavy, but I don't think so...I think he might have more of a retriever coat..Flat, but with some waves?..But he is such a love, lol, and what a character!!!!...Thanks guys...Cheryl

Funny u should say that. Just last night I said to my hysband, I can't believe how big Ollie is now, he was little for such a short time. !!!...We got him June 10, I believe, and he is now so tall and weighs 30 something lbs now...It is kind of sad that they don't stay little for a little longer, but to me every morning when I go and let him out of his crate, he seems to have grown more over night...It is amazing...He is just about housebroken now, of course he doesn't actually tell me, but I know when he has to go, and he hasn't had an accident in about a week...He is sleeping till 6-6:30 from 11-12 at night, so he is really getting there. He knows basic commands, sit stay, shake, but he still is chewing, but seems better with that too. He still pulls when he walks, but we will get that under control next I hope...We just love this guy, and look forward to many years of love and fun with this goofy dog...And he is goofy, he runs and grabs things he knows he shouldn't, but he is ju a ball of fur and love, I can't wait to see what his final weight, height and color and coat will be...Cheryl

Spud is an F1b so I really can't help you with an example or a picture of a F1 Doodle but I did want to support the comments that the coats change constantly during the fist year. Spud has gone from extremely curly, to wavy, back to curly, and now he has a wavy tummy, legs, and half his tail is wavy. The rest is curly.
He had apricot face, chin, tail tip, feet and ears. Now he is almost completely white.
