Goldendoodle puppy - with Lip Sore (Ulcer) - 11 weeks old
I hope you can help!
I have a puppy that is on its way to come Sunday, but was told the vet found small sore (ulcer,) on its lip. They think its from play with other puppies, and have given her a shot of antibiotic. I'm reading that things can be much more serious then they are leading me to believe.
Is this fairly common or should I be worried?

No, it is not common at all. I would insist that they have the vet records emailed or faxed to your vet, along with a photo, and then let your vet advise you.

Oh, and if you didn't already, tell your vet's office that you're supposed to get the pup on Sunday, so you a response ASAP.

Thank you everyone for your help. the vet said its nothing to worry about and looks like it should clear up in a week (with the antibiotic injection they gave).
