He may not be...hard to know when there's no background. But sometimes when they're in danger like that, you err on the side of "doodle", lol!
The change in his appearance is just unbelievable, isn't it?
OMG, what an amazing difference. He looks like an old man in the first picture. How wonderful that he will be loved for the rest of his life. I am getting teary eyed.
He looks absolutely gorgeous now. you can-barely- see the parti colors uner the dirt originally. What amazes me is that his nose seems to have changed colors! What a lovely end to this story.
The nose change amazes me, too. And not just the color, but the shininess! My theory is that it was a combination of sunburn and malnutrition that caused him to lose the pigment.
Thank you. I can't take any credit on this one, other than being an enthusiastic cheerleader; but I am very proud to be a volunteer for IDOG and the DRC! Our directors, coordinators, & fosters are the absolute best!
He was so sad in the first picture that it broke your heart. I love the happy expression his whole body makes in the second picture. Whoopee!! Thank you doodle rescue, doodle transport, doodle foster, and new doodle owners. So many people wouldn't take a chance on an older dog who had lived in a crate his whole life and what a wasted that would have been. I hope Duncan's owners join doodlekisses so that we can see more of him.
