GUMBO IS HOME!!!!! And doing amazing!!!!

Gumbo is settling in nicely!! He is everything I ever dreamed of and more. Words just can't describe... He did great from the airport, sat in my lap, didn't get car sick. Got home, ate a little bit, and explored our yard and got to play in the storming rain w my husband!! He was running around happy as can be! We had a little party with about 10 people and 3 kids and he wasn't scared or anything. He was playing with everyone, He is very social!!  First night in the crate wasn't bad AT ALL. He cried for a bit and then went right to sleep. I woke up this morning at 5 am and he hadn't messed the crate at all. Brought him to the "potty corner" of our yard where we had been taking him and he went right away. He has been doing great w the potty training. No accidents in the house so far!!! He is so sweet and gentle and well....pretty darn perfect I must say. He loves his little squirrel toy and is already "sitting" on command!! He is already the love of my life!! Sooooo happy right now!!! Here are some pics from yesterday's action packed day!! Enjoy!!

LOL...curious where you lived, since naming your new fur baby " Gumbo". We lived in both Greenwell Springs and Baton Rouge at one time. Still have many good friends in the area.

I live 5 minutes from Greenwell Springs!!! If you ever come here to visit, PLEASE let me know if you bring Enzo. There aren't any other doodles around here. They aren't common . I would love for Gumbo to have another doodle friend and Enzo looks sweet as can be!  Funny thing, I lived in Laguna Beach for 3 years for work. I worked for Tilly's as a DM but moved home bc I just missed it too much. Please let me know if you are ever in my "neck of the woods", would love to meet!
