the Tuffie toys? According to this website (Doodle Sport) these toys are the toughest. They even have a rating scale. I just ordered one and am hoping at least this toy will last a little longer than the other ones I bought. He rips right through them all no matter what.
I will let you all know how it goes with this toy. Here is the website if anyone would like to look at it:
I got the turtle toy, which was rated 7. It's now a stuffless, armless, headless, tail-less frisbee with a turtle pattern. Halas had one leg chewed off in the first couple of hours that he had it. I've yet to find a stuffy that he can't destroy.
Samantha destroyed the Tuff Toys within minutes - but I was able to return it to PetSmart and got my money back. What she foudn was the seam around the edges that is not swen without a itsy bitsy piece sticking up. That is where she started chewing. I have checked out more of the same toy but they none werel sewn without that little pice of edging sticking up. Hope you have better luck.

Hello holly, looks like you got a lot of feedback. You can also check our reviews section when you have a question about a product--quite a few things have been reviewed so far. And if you have some thoughts on a product or service, feel free to write your own review.
I found 'Moo' at Target. She just loves it! It is her 'blanckey, her confident, and best friend. The head and the 4 hooves have squeakers but it is an unstuffed plush dog toy. It is the best thing I ever found for her. For some reason has NOT destroyed it. It took her months to open Moo's head to pull the squeaker out but I am going to have it professionally sewn back.
does your doodle usually tear toys apart? Because Bear will destroy toys in a matter of seconds. I did not order any of the animals through ruff and tuff.......I actually bought the bone, hoping it may last longer? LOL...we will see huh? I am going to have to take a look at Target for the toy you are talking about. I bought a couple of those lamb's wool like toys and he LOVES getting to the stuffing and pull it all out while he is looking for the squeaker........LOL!!!
I LOVE Bear to death, but goodness I can not find a toy that can at least out last a couple of weeks? Or maybe I am asking too much? What do you think?
Hi Holly,
This is the first toy she hasn't torn apart! It is amazing how she takes care of Moo -like a baby. Moo did get a hole in the seam in her head which of course she found the squeaker so I took it out the stuffing and the squeaker and will have it sewn back together. The body of Moo has NO stuffing - an unstuffed plush toy except for hooves and head. She doesn't chew on it with her teeth, almost like she gums it. Can tear apart a Tuffie with minutes but Moo has lasted 5 months! Who knows what makes our Doodles do the things they do?!?! If Target doesn't have it, check out the website I posted before - you can order it from. It is the Barnyard Mommas - the Babies are too small for our pups.
I hope you get the same results.

I work in a dog bakery/dog boutique. The most aggressive chewers we have (usually labrador retrievers) have had good results with Tuffies -- either the 9 or 10 rated ones. There is a 9 rated toy that is like a large round "donut" and another one that has a large circle on each end. The 10s are hard to find, but we get them in from time to time. They are good toys, but to make them last you need to buy the highest number for your dog. We also sell toys from a company called WestPaw. These toys are made of a material called ZOGOFLEX. They make a frisbee like toy, an odd shaped ball (hux) and a tux - like 3 balls together with a place underneath for treats. Planet Dog also makes toys rated 1-5 chompers by the manufacturer. The 5s are the toughest. I have a soccer ball that is a 5 - flexible but tough - that my 2 boys love. They bite it, throw it at each other, chew it. They are guaranteed 100% by the manufacturer. The toys are also embedded with mint so they smell good. I think all of these toys are available on line. I hope this helps. :-)
