I need recommendations for a super strong head collar or harness for Jack. This past weekend I took him walking at the park. We had a new head collar on him, and he managed to nearly chew through the part that the leash hooks onto. Jack walks fairly well, but at 90 lbs when he pulls he can be a little hard to handle. This is the second collar we've gone through in the last few months. Any suggestions

Basically, it's not any different from the old school prongs? Only one of my Goldens ever needed it, but it has been awhile since using one.
I have tried every collar and harness, including a prong collar, and Finley still pulled on the leash. I finally tried the Halti style from PetSmart. It was like a miracle! Finley no longer pulls and I can control all 75 lbs. of him. BTW it is not for lack of training because he passed his Canine Good Citizen test and we are training for the Therapy Dog test. I really like the style from PetSmart because it is padded across the nose and has a safety leash that attaches to his flat collar. Good luck with your search.

Thanks, maybe I'll try the Halti.  I really like the head collar, but I don't like that he chews through them so easily.  Maybe since it also connects to his flat collar he wouldn't be able to get it in his mouth

When walking him, I would use a corrective collar or Prong.  Or a 'hidden' prong collar (like the ones from Lola Limited)
