Hello doodle lovers! I am really enjoying the site so far, so much great information! My husband Anthony and I adopted Daisy on 1/31, we live in Easton, Massachusetts where I am a teacher. We are so in love with her after only a few weeks I can't IMAGINE what it must feel like after years. She is a handful and sometimes I feel like a bad puppy mom because she is so crazy but we are hanging in there and doing all the things we are supposed to do. We start puppy classes this weekend!

Ah...welcome to doodle kisses...where most of us have been in your "chewed" shoes...ha...just kidding about the chewed part (I hope for your sake).  Love love love these furbabies.  So much patience, kindness, patience, attention, patience, training, patience,love and did I mention patience?  HA oh ya, and money.  Yes, lotsa money.  Money for toys, food, training, beds, fences, vehicles (I personally had to get a bigger one), vets, collars, leashes, food bowls.  HA..but like April Cliber says "Whoever says money can't buy you happiness has never owned a puppy"  She's the breeder that sold us our little  monster angel.  There was just recently another forum about having a new puppy and the trials and tribulations.  Hang in there because if you give up there are over 10,000 of us that would gladly take her in...that's because we've all learned the endurance and tenacity of raising a puppy into the most wonderful, heart-stealing, gorgeous ball of fur anyone on this earth could ever be lucky enough to welcome into their homes. 

Really, Hang in there the reward is overwhelming and you get to become doodle crazy like the rest of us! :)

Hi Joani! Thank you for all your sweet comments on Daisy's pics! I am glad to hear that I'm not the only one with a pup who tests patience! I am a middle school teacher so I would have thought my patience would be impressive by now but I have a long way to go! I will never give up on her though I love her so so much. Thank you for the encouragement! :)

You are so VERY welcome!  I hope her color holds...gorgeous gorgeous.  Personally I have been eyeing up the Irish Doodles because of the brilliant red!  Alas...Skadi is 3 1/2 now, as (sweet as can be)... even though it's been that long ago that she was a devious puppy, my memory is so unforgiving!  HA.  Maybe I will find the patience again some day because these are such incredible creatures if trained right.  Enjoy, and take many many pictures and videos of this precious puppy hood time because it goes in the blink of an eye!
