LOL Joanne, at least not when there's chocolate in the house.
I am coming upon this late but I do have a reminder. We have a chart in the Danger Group that explains how much chocolate is likely to be a problem.
Wow thanks F! That's great! I wish they had one for flowers too! I have this big chart from the ASPCA that tells which are toxic etc. also some leaves from trees. They never say HOW much before you need to freak out. One bite? Two bites??? We took everything out of our backyard.
Anyway, my mom was watching my sisters dog and he ate a bowl full of hershey kisses-she thought she killed the dog!
The vet said to watch him and it should be ok. Scary!
My moms aunts poodle ate all the hershey kisses off a christmas tree and was perfectly fine, he should be ok.
Anything colorful come out yet???
Glad to hear Bodhi should be fine. Our 14 year sheltie who died a year before we got our doodles had a very sensitive tummy and was on a very strict diet. Any opportunity she had to get something good she took it. She ate an entire unopened box of valentine candy that someone at work had given me when I left my bag I carry to work unopened on the floor. She had to have her stomach pumped out. She also ate an entire fruit cake except the pecans on top that was given to me by a co-worker. It was in a tin so not sure how she got that opened. Another trip to the vet. She also ate the entire contents of the inside of a very large pumpkin while my son was making a jack-o-lantern. He thought it was funny. No trip to the vet but lots of vomiting.
The things our doggies will eat.
