Help finding a Goldendoodle

Hello, I live in the Richmond, VA area and I have been trying to find Goldendoodles within my price range. I am willing to travel out of state if need be, but I have looked online as well as in the paper and it seems the price of most Goldendoodles are $1000 or more. That is just too pricey for a family starting out which is a shame since I have heard only good things about Goldendoodles.

Do any of you out there know of some place I may have missed or any breeders who have more reasonable prices?
