Help-- Flat coat doodles? Pics!

I am debating on getting this flat coat doodle! She is an F1B Mini goldendoodle and in all of her pics she favors a golden retriever. I am purchasing her from a breeder in another state and cannot go there in person, so all I have are pics and a video! Please help!

Do you think she'll get any curls? Anyone with a flat-coat with adult pics/puppy pic

Irks all guess work at this point. I don't know that she will get any curls but she looks like she will "doodle out" at least. I say that based in her ears and muzzle.

I would be more concerned with the breeder, especially if they advertise on Next Day Pets, Puppy Find, etc, which these photos look like they might. Have you read our guidelines on what to look for in a breeder? Health is the most important factor. If you cannot visit the breeder yourself, you really need to personally know someone else who has, and find out as much as you can about the breeding program, health testing (not vet checks) and background of parents, etc.

Karen-- She offers a 2 year health warranty on her puppys & does testing on the parents for hip displasia and other common health problems in doodles.  I have been waiting on this puppy since March when she was born. I am only just now picking because her son has been in the hospital & all of us waiting for the puppies agreed to pick later :)

I agree with F that she will probably "doodle out". She probably won't be curly, but I do think she'll have a wavy/shaggy/doodle-y appearance. She really doesn't look flat-coated to me.

Just a guess but you can see the eyebrows, muzzle, ears and area between the eyes starting to doodle out :)  She doesn't look flat coated to me.

Very cute, I agree that she doesn't look like a flat coat, looks quite a bit like my Oscar did at 8 weeks, he's an F1 medium goldendoodle and is 'doodling out' quite nicely at this point, he's just under 6 months old now. Good luck and welcome to the DK site, lots of good information here!!

This puppy looks a lot like our Yogi did as a puppy.... Just curly ears. He now has a lush wavy coat. This puppy should be a beauty

I have to agree that I think she will doodle out, but if the breeder is suggesting she may be a flat coat then you need to be sure you are ok with that in case she does.  Check out J & Luna's page and look at Luna's puppy pics.  Luna is a flat coat and cute as ever, but didn't doodle out!
