HELP in emergency situations

Hello, I just got our family a new beautiful doodle. We knew it was not ideal timing because we had a 10 day vacation planned for Hawaii. We had it all set up for our little Kizmet to stay with my sister. We are in Hawaii now and just got here today. Unfortunately we had a sudden death in my family. Now all my sisters and mom are leaving town. My puppy is not fully immunized as she is ony 10 months. She is not fully potty trained. I don't know what to do. All of my friends have full time jobs and can not care for a puppy that requires so much. Is there a magical option anyone knows of? We are stuck.

Holly- Given Kizmet's age, I definitely think the breeder is your best option at this point.  However, I do know of a great pet nanny in Issaquah if you'd like her information for future reference.  Rooney stayed with her when he was only 16 weeks old when we went to Hawaii for 10 days and he had a fantastic time.  He was totally happy and actually came home better behaved than when he left!  

I hope everything works out. This sounds really stressful!

The Vet or the Breeder - I was concerned at first when people gave you that advice not knowing if they breeder was close by, a lot of us traveled to get our doodles....glad that she is close by where all the relatives will be.

Are you planning on staying in Hawaii? Do you have trip interuption insurance in cases of emergency? I think a death in the family qualifies. I hope that you find a suitable solution for little Kizmet.
