Thanks so much! This is another "must have" print out for the ER kit!
I think the Bloat emergency kit will if G-d forbid I need it entail me driving like the clappers to the nearest vet as I can't see  myself doing the hose thing and wedging the dogs mouth open.  If I was a doctor or nurse I'd say yes but looking at that info.....  The poison info on the other hand I have printed in large letters and put on the notice board in the kitchen. LOL
LOL, I'm with you Nicky.  No way in h_ _ l I'm doing that!!
I'm so glad Louie is ok!!  I'll be making our first aid kit as well!!
I just bookmarked the page for easy access. Thanks Joan and so happy all is well!
Joan I'm so glad that Louie is alright. I can't imagine how scared you must have been!!
I am once again reminded how great this forum is not only for support but for information that ALL of us need to have in emergencies like this. I never in a million years would have thought of a first aid kit for my dog but I'm going to go to put one together today. I'm also going to buy a locking plastic box for pet meds. This is so foreign to me because the dogs I had in the past were tiny and counter surfing was NOT an option for them!! Since my breeder thinks Bocelli will be about 20" high and 40 pounds, I guess I'm going to have to be mindful now of what is within his reach. I swear, it's like having a child all over again :-))
