I just finished making chicken soup for tomorrow night. The house smells wonderful, and Wally and Charlotte happily enjoyed some of the extra chicken.  After all, it's their holiday, too, right?!

It's funny . . . years ago, I hired a dog trainer to help me train my first dog, a goldendoodle named, Simon.  The trainer told me that if he believed in reincarnation, he would wish to come back as a dog in a Jewish household!
