Need tips to keep Q from licking a Histiocytoma on his paw pad

What I thought might be a tear on his paw pad is possibly a histiocytoma.  Of course he is licking it constantly and the vet was pretty adamant about an E-collar.  Yikes.  Two weeks of that!  He is up and down our bed all night, should be interesting.  He said we can try a sock, but can't but any type of restriction around it.  I think we will do a sock and watch him while we are home, maybe at night. He is NOT going to like having it on all day.  Good news is that a histiocytoma is a benign tumor and can resolve spontaneously.  Fingers crossed!

I wish I could bring him to work! Not possible during the week.  When I do bring him in on weekends once in a blue moon, he is well behaved and LOVES to run up and down the long halls.
