Is anyone else checking their mailbox in anticipation of some doodle cards? I mailed my cards yesterday. I always wait until I get my first Christmas card and then out my cards go. My foyer now has a special place for the doodle cards and I put ours there to get it started. Every day when I walk by, I tell Vern and Fudge "Look we have one card" and then my daughter tells them it is just the one of both of them. We can't wait!!
My cards for Group A are going in the mail today! I am trying to come up with a way to display the cards that will be coming in. I don't want to tape anything to the walls so I am thinking about a small fake 3ft tree that I can put on a table or somewhere and then I can "hook" the card on it! Going out to the stores to find something that will work for me. I'm still waiting for the addresses to the Group B so I can get those cards done too! Now the waiting begins...attack the mailman every day!!! I am soooo excited!
I'm getting excited about receiving them too! I can't think of any good display ideas. I always end up poster taping them to my door and around my front window but that ends up looking sloppy toward the end.
Caitlin...later would be just fine. That way we all are receiving card right up to Christmas! I hate it when I go to the mail box as it gets closer to Christmas and there are no more cards!!! Study hard and the cards will be waiting for you to complete when you are done!
As we don't celebrate Christmas and Hannukah started today, we plan to send out a New Years Greeting! So for those not able to send theirs out right away, that may also be an alternative to keep the cards coming throughout the Holiday season.
Maybe when we get all the cards, we can all post our displays of them. I have an old metal decorative grate that I sometimes hang my cards on, but this year I brought out a card holder that my sister gave me years ago and it has slots for cards. I was just looking up ways to display cards and they had Nancie's idea about hanging them on the Christmas tree. My tree is packed with ornaments, but a smaller tree just for cards would be great. Great idea, Nancie.
Caitlin, like everyone said, it will be fun getting cards all the way up to Christmas Day. Study hard!!
My cards are mailed and I can't wait to get my doodle cards!

How do I get that list???...i am going to send mine out in but a week, since Oliver is going to be groomed this week, lol, so I thought I would wait for that, but I need to know who to contact for the namesw and addresses of A list...thanks, cheryl
