Homeless Doodles Need Your Help!

The Doodle Rescue Collective needs good foster homes to help doodle dogs in need!

There are so many coming into kill shelters since the Holiday Gift of a Doodle is just not what most families think it will be. Without a good foster home to send them to, we cannot pull them out of the shelter. We need foster homes all over the country.

Sadly for the doodles, families do not do their research before getting that cute puppy and think that they come perfectly trained without doing any work. Needless to say, a home with an untrained doodle is not a happy place so instead of training their doodle, they just dump them at the closest shelter.

If you can open your home for a few weeks for a doodle in need of love, basic training and daily food, while they await their new home, please send us an Foster Application.

If you can't foster, would you consider volunteering to drive a doodle to their foster home? Join us at the DRC, under the heading VOLUNTEER is the group Doodle Train Transportation. You can add your name to the states you can drive.

Just let me know where I am needed.  Right now, I am trying to get a Doodle that needs socializing and "calming" before she can go to her forever home.  She needs to become acclimated to other dogs, so my brat pack is the perfect place.  They are used to other dogs coming in, since I doodle sit for friends and they go to the flea market (as will the new foster) to stay socialized with strangers.
