Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum
Honey is taking a serious nap after her playtime. We want to make sure she is rested well for Tuesday her God Mommy & Daddy, Sheri and Mike Clement, visit her for News Years Eve. She will be so surprised to see them and Lucy and Annabell. This will be a very interesting reunion. Even more interesting will be the five Doodles at play here at the Berry Oaks Doodle Ranch. More pics to come on this event. Safe travels Sheri and Mike Clement.

Where is the video? I would love to see it and have looked on all the pages. No video that I can find. Good to see that she is so happy and healthy.
I think I enjoyed seeing this as much as the rest of you and I was there. I can't even tell you how wonderful this time with Dane and Joyce was. Dane had it all planned out and cameras and video set up so he could capture the moment when she saw us. I messed up as I had my camera clicking away when she came around the corner of the house but I wanted to experience it rather than take pictures, so I put the camera down and then came that famous HONEY smile! She was smiling from ear to ear. It was then I knew she had not forgotten us. Her enthusiasm and going back and forth from me to Mike to me went on for quite some time. Dane assures me that she doesn't do that to just everyone she meets, lol! She is the same sweet Honey that we knew, although she has matured. Not quite as much puppy as there was when we had her at 10 months. She has put on about 10-15 lbs ad her back legs were strong (thanks to so many of you reading this). I could of just held her and kissed that face for hours. She still snuggles up to you and wants to sit really close. Joyce does a wonderful job grooming her and she looked adorable with bows in her hair. This is the first one of our fosters that we have gotten to see again. We have kept in contact with most, but haven't seen them. Honey will always be our special girl though. We both agreed though as we were driving away that Honey is where she is supposed to be. She is so loved and very happy and content. There is no where else we would rather she be! Although she doesn't physically reside within our family she is and always will be a special part of our family, as will Dane and Joyce!
Had you and Mike not been there for her, the rest of her story would not have happened. Everything that Honey is and has now, she owes to your generous, willing heart.
Amen!!! Thankful for the DRC fosters!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sooo true Karen!
Foster families are the best :)
Definitely!
Very special story about wonderful folks like Sherri, Mike, Dane and Joyce, Dr. Bean and the vet staff and of course the entire DRC team working together making little miracles and big Honey smiles!
Happy New Year!
A beautiful, beautiful story and the best reunion ever!
