The article I have a link to on cnn.com states that the chemicals in the Glade Plug-ins and a few other household cleaners can cause health problems in dogs. I've also heard that Frabreeze can cause health problems as well.
Has anyone else seen or heard of this?

Here is another informative link: (thank you F, Calla & Luca for providing it)

Added note:
I have had pet birds for 20 years and I'm always very conscious of any airborne type cleaners, fragences, etc. as this potential hazards can kill them. Even overheating teflon coated pans can kill a bird and I've had a friend who lost her bird to this mistake. I remember hearing stories a few years ago when Febreeze came out on the market that it was causing health issues in dogs and cats whose owners would spray their animal beds and couches with the fabric freshener.
Here is a link to a news report on ABC about if these kinds of reports are true or not.

I, personally, still try to be more cautious regardless of what is being reported.

Looks like, as is the case with so many things, the West Coast version/definition is completely different from the East Coast version. And in this case much more versatile. :)
As for my wisdom curve, I was wise enough to find my way to DK. 'Enuf said.
Finding your way to DK was a stroke of genius : ) So now we know you had one : )
You're such a naughty girl! LOL
Okay, let me illustrate my point using one of my favorite quotes from my father Albert:
"The difference between stupidity and genius is that genius has its limits". So by your indicating that I had a stoke of genius it is in a sense, confirmation that I am not stupid and merely that my wisdom curve has reached an end because I have attained the pinnacle or apex of wisdom. Sigh...such a burden to carry.
Thank you.
You would think so but my parents wanted me to have a meiseless upbringing. Apparently, they didn't like rodents either.
My new favorite DK quote:

ROFL!
OMD...I am busy tonight and come on here to find my poor Ricki being attacked about her brain power. Next thing you know you will be telling her a dumb monkey could figure it out. Ricki, It is really bad when F starts saying that about you. Just ask Doris. I have no idea what a bubbe meise is, but I am almost positive meise is plural for mice, so I think Ricki is correct, because mice annoy me, too :) Case solved.
ROFLMAO!
