Usually for standard sized doodles (which yours is not) you double the 4 month weight and add 5 lbs. But smaller doods like yours I think may not grow quite as much...?
Absolutely amazing!!! I just got Gracie Doodle's baby book out and at 4 months she was 32.2 lbs. At a bit over three years old she just weighed in at 71.2 lbs and fluctuates up to 74 lbs. Your formula plus the 5 lbs would put her 69.4 lbs. That is a pretty close call. Oh...Gracie is a Standard GD!!
Tara is 20 months old and weighs 19 pounds. She weighed 12 pounds when she was 4 months old. A formula I have "heard" (unscientific and unproven!!) is that they weigh approx. 3/4 of their adult weight at 6 months. Tara was approx. 15 pounds at 6 months and will probably fill out a bit more as she gets a little older and could end up 20-21 pounds. So she is falling within the "formula". But I am sure there are others who do not.
I think Ned was about 12 pounds at 14 months. He is just under 27 pounds and reached that at 8 or 9 months of age. He has maintained that weight consistently - he is almost 2 1/2 now. He has a more poodlish athletic body.
I think you meant 14 weeks .
I've been using the Wii Fit Plus Pet Stats to track Chutney's weight--She's 16 weeks old and has gained 3.5 lbs in 2 weeks for a total of 19.25 lbs. The breeder estimated that she would be 35-45 lbs.
