How Can We Better Help New Members?
As we get ready to implement a new series of welcoming and informative emails to new members to help guide them once they join, I'd like your input on a few things:
-- What do new members need to know?
-- What do they need to know first...what's most important?
-- What do they need to know next...and after that?
Mainly I want to get your feedback on what is most critical for new members to learn and what is important for them to learn over a period of time as they settle into DK membership. We want to ensure they feel welcome, now how to navigate, can find answers to common questions, etc.
When we're done, anyone who wants to get what new members get will be able to sign up for the emails.

Karen that discussion about wiping dog's feet was very helpful...i thought i was the only one out there that had to do that. ha. I think a better question would have been "does anyone else have to wipe their doodles butt"? Although it probably has already been a discussion too.

and I took your polite suggestion and did the search and got 8 pages of results. though i'm pretty sure i wouldn't have thought to search that term on my own. Maybe people just don't know what terns to use in their searches.

Anyone willing to sign up as a New Member using another email address you have access to? You'd just sign up for a day and then remove your account at the end. I want to know what you get and what you see to be sure it works alright. Though we haven't started the new series of emails, this will at least test what we have so far.

Adina, after somehow managing to start not one but two more gmail accounts I thought I was good to go. But @@##$^& no. I had to put in a profile photo but I cannot since I cannot upload. I cannot access my own DK photos cause that's not me. I can't upload to my page because I am not yet a member. I wonder how many potential new members give up> I will try on Chrome now but my frustration tolerance is just about used up. Sorry for the rant but please, please get them to do something.
