How Do I Access/Change the Notifications I get about Doodle Kisses stuff?

Q)
I have numerous messages to my email which say, for example:
Susie Q replied to the discussion "WIN Your Doodle's Photo on Canvas: CONTEST TIME AGAIN!" on DoodleKisses.com

How do I get to this comment? I have soooo many and I don't know how to access them.
Thank you

A) Dear Susie Q
This question brings to mind a couple things to address:

1) You have FULL control over the notifications you receive in your email about stuff happening on DK. You don't have to receive notifications of other people's responses unless you want to. You can change what notifications you receive by changing your email settings. Click on "settings" in the top of the right column of any page. Then on that page click "Email" -- then go through and choose which notifications you want to receive.

If you don't want to receive notification each time someone responds to a discussion you responded to...then simply uncheck the corresponding box. THEN if there is ever a discussion you want to be alerted to, then at the BOTTOM of the discussion in question click "Follow" to get notified for that discussion alone.

When you are done selecting your 'settings' don't forge to hit SAVE at the very bottom.

2) When you DO get notification of a response to a discussion, you should be able to click on the link provided in the email. The link that looks like the one above:
"To view the new reply, visit:
http://www.doodlekisses.com/xn/detail/2065244:Comment:1234567890"

If clicking on it doesn't make anything happen ... then just copy and paste that link into your browser to go to that page.

Hope that helps!

Thank you. But clicking on the link doesn't seem to bring me to the right spot. It's not the place that I can see comments that are addressed to me. I thought maybe the comment # might mean something that I should search for.
Ooops sorry! I should have mentioned that the link ABOVE is a dummy link (only looks like a real link for illustration purposes). And those notifications you might receive do NOT mean that somebody responded to you. It only means that someone responded to the discussion itself. So with contest discussions...where tons of people reply, it's probably good to click "Stop Following" at the bottom of the discussion so you aren't notified of every single response unless you want to be.
