How do you tell the difference between a doodle and PWD?

I never seem to get a straight answer, if any, to this question. If checking lineage is not an option, are there any anatomical differences that make it a definite one or the other?

I've attached three pics. Can you tell me which is which?

My original vote was for #1, but then I saw #2 which from the body looks more PWD-ish, except for the tail. My vet has a PWD, but keeps his hair so short so it's really hard to tell. Well....??????
