How long do doodles live on average?

My first doodle, Barney lived to be 15 and 2 months. He was an accidental first cross before 'doodles' were invented. We first heard the term labradoodle when he was 7 years old. We called him a poodle cross....until we heard the term labradoodle! Unusually for a first cross he had a minimally shedding curly coat. His mum was a field trials Labrador, his dad was the standard poodle from down the lane. The fence that kept a lab in did not keep a standard poodle out!
