How much would you pay for a Doodle?

I have been looking at different types of dogs. I wouldn't buy a dog based on price but I am noticing that Doodles are quite expensive. I've seen them range from $2500-$3500. Is this standard or does it vary regionally? I'm on the East Coast.

I agree...but I also find that people have no idea what a Goldendoodle (esp. the Minis and Toys) cost....so I have been asked that a few times.  I wasn't offended, just gave a ballpark estimate.

You figure with Google they can figure it out as opposed to 20-30 years ago.....
