How old is your doodle?

I was wondering, who is the oldest doodle on doodle kisses. I don't think I have heard of one who is over 4 years old. I hope it is not because doodles don't live that long. So, how old is your doodle?

Callie is somewhere between 3 and 4. It's hard sometimes to not know her actual age!!

Yes, I got her at a local animal shelter, and then discovered that she's a doodle. She really could be any age, but she still had some very puppyish behavior the first year that I had her, so she probably wasn't much older than 2 or 2.5.

Oh my!:) You were lucky. Did they tell you she was a doodle? If they didn't, how did you find out?

I was SO lucky, because Callie is really a wonderful dog! They had her listed as a standard poodle, but I knew she was a mix of some sort...she wasn't curly enough to be a full std, or really even big enough. My vet agreed and thought she was either poodle/pwd or a labra or goldendoodle. As I've met more doodles  and spent more time on DK,  I've decided that she's a goldendoodle.

Fudge turned two on Christmas day and Vern was one on 1/10/11.

Blaze is 2 1/2 years old and Robyn is  6 1/2 years old.

Sheba just turned 2 on Christmas Day and Duke will be 2 on March 15th.  My babies are growing up waaay to fast!!

My Abby is now 13 years 5 months old and is about 65 lbs.  Is she the oldest on this site? She has always eaten no grains or soy or corn. Her walks are shorter now and she has trouble jumping up to her fav couch these days. She has several lipomas and had a cancerous black ball growing on her foot till we treated it with Christopher's black ointment. It's all gone now. We dread the day she will cross the Rainbow Bridge but feel blessed that she has lived this long. We also have a 12 year old 90 lb golden retriever and a little maltese mix rescue dog, about 11. We are old too! All getting there together.

Linda, this discussion is more than 5 years old. I don;t think the original poster has been active here for quite some time, and all of the dogs are 5 years older now. :)
