Hudson is getting a baby sister!

We fell in love with Hudson the moment we met him and have wanted another Doodle ever since. We decided that this was the right summer. 1/2 of me is soooo excited and the other 1/2 keeps thinking, "What am I doing?" because Hudson is so easy. I thought for sure we were getting another male, but we fell in love with a sweet, mellow female. The kids have decided to call her Lily. She will come home in about 11 days.

Oh my she is just adorable, look at that face....I am proud to admit I am jealous, oh to have a little doodle again, lol...But then I think of the potty training and all the other stuff that goes with having a puppy and I have to admit, it will be put on the back burner for a while...Oliver was really a very good puppy, my husband & I say he is like an old soul...He is calm most of the time, he loves people, kids, etc...Of course he has his moments, but I have to stay away from doodle puppies, or else!!!...So congratulations and please keep the pictures and stories coming....

She is so adorable:) She has precious little eyes. I hope she is as easy as Hudson was. I can't wait to see more pictures:)

Thanks everybody! Your excitement has made me more excited and has eased some of my "What am I doing?" feelings. :) We spent about an hour trying to pick out a puppy and couldn't really decide between Lily and a male pup. There was just something about her that was sweet and soulful like Hudson. I liked the looks and curly coat of the male pup better, but to me, personality should be the main deciding factor, and although he was really sweet too, Lily won us over. I hope she is a good fit for our family. I'll keep you posted!
