Okay, East Coasters.... when you can please check in with us. I'm up in the middle of the night on the west coast, watching the news and wondering how all of you are doing!

I'm good in Philadelphia. Still windy but that'll pass. Haven't lost electric! Having yesterday and today off is like a mini vacation :) I know many people in NJ that didn't fare as well though. Hopefully, clean up starts soon! The beaches look terrible!

No answer to phone, text, or email.  Maybe she is sleepy. Could be looking for her sons in NYC.  Her county is doing some door to door rescue with National Guard.  That bothers me

Watching Today show, NJ Gov states 2.4 mil in NJ w/o power.

My cousin in Cape May sent me an e-mail and he is fine and so is his boat.  They were without electricity, but that was the least of his worries.

I turned off my regular phone after 8 AM because the police kept calling with reverse 911 to tell us about the damage to the electrical infrastructure and trees down all over. Two places blocked on my little street. It will be days and days before power is restored. 2 million customers in NJ without power.
