So I put little Charley outside and ran to the bathroom. I didn't think she would get herself into trouble in the two minutes I was gone and I thought she would just follow my other dog around. Well, she got stuck UNDER my house. I tried to take a picture but couldn't get it clear enough. Aperantely I need to reattach a loose board under my kitchen window. I had to wake my 16 year old up and as we were practicly tearing a whole into the side of the house, Charley found her way back out. I think it scared her because I can't put her down without her crying and jumping up on my leg. I fully understand how these puppies need to be watched every moment outside. I also understand the passion in the words to the lady that wanted her puppy to stay outside all the time. Good grief! Shame on me!

As a matter of fact they do. My husband (a policeman) was dispatched to a barking dog call.  No one was home and the house was dark but he could hear the dog plain as day but could not see him in the yard.  Finally after carefully inspecting the exterior of the house he found what looked like a dog head mounted to the exterior brick wall.  The German Shepherd had chewed his way through the dryer vent and poked his head out the hole only to get stuck.  So...my DH called the fire fighters who cut a hole in the brick wall to free the dog!
