I need to give away my 1 and a half year old white female labradoodle

I have accepted an engineering job traveling around Europe for the next two years, and sadly, I must give away my white female labradoodle, Lacey, to a good home.  She has all of her shots and check-ups and is in perfect health.  She was born Jan 16, 2009.  We bought Lacey from a labradoodle breeder in Riverside, CA and she was the pick of the litter!  She loves to run and play and has a great happy nature.  I am living and working in Clearwater, Florida please call me at 949-395-7003 if you know of a good home.

Did she come from Beau Monde? I have two friends I have sent this to in North Carolina. Size? Coat type? Any obedience training?
No, she didn't come from Beau Monde. She is medium size, 45 lbs. Her coat is very curly and poodle like, she doesn't shed at all, my daughter is allergic to dogs, and when she comes home from college Lacey is no problem for her. We have been training her since she was a pup. She does well with sit and stay but we are still working on come (she has a mind of her own, but eventually will come).
I am so sorry that you had to make this very, very hard decision!
Would you like the Doodle Rescue Collective to take her into our program?

email me at adriannedrc@aol.com to talk privately.
I recommend you turn to one of two doodle rescue organizations here in the USA. They provide foster homes for dogs in need of new homes and take great care of doodles while working hard to find them good, forever homes that are fully screened. They also have waiting lists and are sprinkled all over the country so your Lacey will be in good hands:

DRC is one rescue

IDOG is another

Click on each name to be taken to their sites and either pick one and contact them (Adrianne above represents DRC) or talk to them both and see who has a foster home available.
I would recommend the same as Adina. Unless your breeder demands Lacey back, either of these Doodle rescues is going to take excellent care of her and make sure that her new home is in every way able to provide her the love and other resources she needs.
I am so sorry that you have to make this tough decision!
Please contact your breeder. Most breeders will take their puppys back for rehoming or they will help you to find a good home if that becomes necessary.
Also, most breeders really want to know if their pups are rehomed so that they can stay in touch.
Best wishes to you.
I am so sorry for this to happen.
