I think my doodle is picking up on my bad habits!!!

In the morning I get up early(5:45) as the first child leaves for High School. As he leaves the next rises and leaves then the next and so on till all 5 are GONE. As the little one leaves I secretly like to go back to bed and drink my coffee and snuggle with my lover. The last month or soo I have noticed that Amante realizes this is a secret and as soon as he realizes that everyone is gone he runs to my room and jumps in my bed. This is funny because my husband does not allow Amante in our room let alone in the bed. Is it possible that he knows it is ok only when no one else is home.

He He...Bailey and I do the same thing.  My DH leave for work at 0430 and as soon as he is gone...Here comes Bailey to snuggle with her momma!!!

If I had to get 5 kids off to school every morning I'd be exhausted and need to go back to bed as well.  That's funny though that Amante knows he can snuggle when DH is gone!

haha that is too cute. Amante is no dummy.  Krimmi does the same thing, my hubby gets up about half an hour before me and as soon as he goes downstairs Krimmi comes upstairs from sleeping on the couch lol and is up on the bed for a snuggle.  I think DH and him pass each other on the stairs.

This would be my favorite part of the day :) Fudge always comes back to bed with me when my DH leaves, although both of our dogs are allowed on the bed. Amante is no dummy....LOL!!

Kona will only get on the bed when I am in it. Even when I am out of town, he won't get up there when DH invites him. That bed snuggling is mama stuff at our house. Glad you and Amante share these moments of reverie after the chaos of morning departures. You deserve it!

Amante wants to make sure that he gets his quality snuggle time in!!  When I am out of town on business, Cubbie always ends up sleeping in the bed with my DH (I don't allow it) and I think Cubbie knows that.
