As you all know we think our Daisy is perfect and would not change a thing about her for ourselves.

That being said I think if we had the option, the one thing I would do for Daisy is change her fear of so many little things. Her fear of blowing objects, a falling leaf, the Goodyear Blimp in the sky, an object in the distance that she cannot decipher. I would prefer she be more curious with a healthy dose of caution, and I a willing partner, for her to move to those things just to verify that they are not going to harm her. I think life would be sweeter for her which of course would make life for us that much better with her in it.

Aw, poor Bender. Holes would be annoying and I have seen the discussions here about just that. I don't know who said it or when but I recall somebody saying to put a piece of their own poo in there and it works. Guess it's worth a try - ha ha.

Oh yes that's exactly what I do but I can only take so many pieces of poop sitting around in our yard

I would tone down Luna's prey drive a little... when she catches a scent or sees something moving it's VERY difficult (ie. nearly impossible) for me to get her attention.

I love my "little hunter", but reliable recall is difficult when she acts like a beagle on a scent trail!

Luna, tough girl.

Daisy sees a critter and she is elbows and rear ends trying to got the other way - fortunately she has a very good recall and if she is extremely quick if I yell stop she does.

I think Banjo is the perfect dog....but.....really, honestly,  he has some bad habits.....and I take all the blame...it's my own lack of training with him.....but, if I could wave a magic wand....he would stop counter surfing, he would come immediately when called, he would stop stealing the toilet paper from the roll when I foolishly leave the bathroom door open, he would not steal socks and shoes left within his reach.    Yup,  he's perfect......I'm just an imperfect trainer.   : )

Ha ha Carol, this sounds exactly like Bella, Daisy's sister. When we had her last she stole socks and counter surfed, she never did that at our house before.

OMD Carol, are you sure your Banjo and my Buddy aren't twins??  Instead of the toilet paper roll, he goes for all the used tissue in the waste paper basket, and any napkins left on the TV trays, ugh!

LOL....oh dear,   I totally forgot about the bathroom trash and DH is not yet trained to remove his napkin before walking away from the table.....

Gotta train those DH's too Carol.  I am worse than my hubby, it's usually my napkin that get's stolen.  I swear Buddy watches and waits for the perfect time.  Just the other night, I must have tucked the napkin between the couch and me and the litte bugger darted in and got it when I wasn't paying attention :)

I have a better chance of training Banjo Gina.     Aren't these dogs amazing, the way they "plan" their next "attack".

Carol, the other night, they really needed a walk and didn't get one.  So Buddy started humping pillows, when DH took all those away, he started stealing socks.  I finally found out where he got those from and then it was time for my shoes.  I put two pairs away, and in the morning my tennis shoes were in the dining room LOL  I laughed so hard, and it really was my fault for no walk.  I love these smart dogs!  The last two nights we practiced out K9 nosework and that seemed to satisfy all of us :)

Gee GBK I only thought Libby did that!  Bathroom doors in this house are ALWAYS shut, well most of the time:)
