As you all know we think our Daisy is perfect and would not change a thing about her for ourselves.

That being said I think if we had the option, the one thing I would do for Daisy is change her fear of so many little things. Her fear of blowing objects, a falling leaf, the Goodyear Blimp in the sky, an object in the distance that she cannot decipher. I would prefer she be more curious with a healthy dose of caution, and I a willing partner, for her to move to those things just to verify that they are not going to harm her. I think life would be sweeter for her which of course would make life for us that much better with her in it.

I only wish I would get the stare down....  Kona will scratch, scratch, scratch (non stop) on the glass sliding door until someone let's her out.  Sometimes all she wants it the door open so she can lay inside with her head stuck outside LOL

Maybe a doggy door is her future. :-)

She has a doggy door, but she barks too much so we lock her in!!!!  Then she scratches to go out, it is a vicous cirlce :)

My wish for Tara would be similar to yours for Daisy. Tara uses a healthy dose of caution with new things that she encounters which is fine for all of us. :)  That is until the new "thing" is a dog. Everything else gives her space and time to acclimate but dogs that just approach her and want to touch or sniff her are terrifying. Doesn't matter if it is a tiny puppy or a giant dog. Although she seems more comfortable with the big ones for some reason.  With dogs she does everything possible to keep them from touching her. Recently the neighbor's dog was visiting and, with her being a Dachshund, Tara can always stay one step ahead or one jump over her. However, this day Tara was distracted by something and Tootsie came up behind her and touch her with her nose. Poor Tara jumped about a foot straight up! Actually, the sight of it was pretty funny but I felt so sorry for her. That is the sort of thing that I wish she didn't have to experience.

I know exactly what you are talking about Ricki, poor doodle girls.

Laurie's blog on Vern just reminded me of this one. Jack pees in a standing position and will go on his front right leg. We need to change this!

I wonder how you train a dog to pee differently?? That sounds like a challenge!

Ha ha - well I guess that is always a possibility with a boy - human ones pee other than the big opening in the toilet as well.

For Kona I would wish for her not to bark as much outside in the yard, and at certain people she is unsure of.  She will still get in a barking jag every once in a while at people with strange hair, piercings, backpacks, hats.  She is Sooooo much better though, and she will come in when I call her from the yard on the first come :)

For my mister Buddy, just read what Carol and Banjo wrote LOL  And, the ding dong chases windshield wipers......  I really wish he would stop that.  Thank goodness we live in a place it hardly ever rains.  He is obsessed and I know it is part of his chase drive, but sheesh it is annoying and I really should start doing some training to fix it.  Hard to find good help to help me train, and be home in the day when it does rain.

I will take each of them as they are though, I couldn't love two dogs more than these two!

Oh my, forgive me for laughing....chasing the windshield wipers??!!!   LMAO!   Silly Buddy!

When we drove home from my parents, DH forgot about Buddy's wiper chasing and turned on the wipers to clean the windshield  All hell broke loose, as Bud dove into the front seat and chased back and forth on the dashboard.  I hadn't gotten my shoulder surgery yet and couldn't pull him back.  I only thank God we were on a non busy street,  I did it the other day as I had the dogs in the car to go to training, like a rocket he dives.....  Maybe I should get a Beware of Diving Dog sign for our dashboard just to remind us LOL

Of course you will because when it comes down to it none of this stuff is a deal breaker, in fact I can't think of one thing that would be.
