Here he is! He has the cutest face!

He's peed 3 times already. He BARELY squats, so I'll need to watch him like a hawk!

So far, so good. He screamed for about 5 minutes, then fell asleep. I was sitting next to the crate as he fell asleep, then moved into my bed a few minutes ago. I hope the snuggle puppy with litter mates scent & the blanket over the crate help!

Oh gosh, you are taking me back to the puppy days.  I remember my stomach being upside down and barely sleeping while I listened for tell tale cries at night.

I can't tell from the picture, but do you have half the crate blocked off?  If not you should so that he cannot relieve himself in one end and sleep in the other.

Yes, I have the crate divided. I could probably make it a little smaller, but it was tough to get it in, in the first place. You might not be able to see it since I have that blanket over the other side.

Also, I was nervous at first that the space between the bars in the crate were too big, since he was twisting his face & biting the bars. I'm not sure how much width difference there is between a 30" & 36" or if it's even noticeable. It could be that Stew is extra small-only about 5 lbs!

Jess ~ I hope you don't mind, I put Stewart's directly on this discussion.  He is so very cute! Enjoy him - they grow up too quick.

No problem, Linda! I created the discussion on an iPhone, so I couldn't put the picture right in.

So exciting that you have your Stewart! He is just adorable! Congratulations!

So cute and I love his color!

Oohhh, he is so darn cute!! Enjoy every second they seem to grow right before your eyes! !

How adorable. He is a beautiful color.

So far, I'VE gone to the bathroom more than Stew, who hasn't gone once from 10:30 pm until now 3 am! He keeps readjusting though. Will I really know when he has to go, with cries, or not? I don't want to just take him out since he's so calm & settled, I'd be afraid he wouldn't want to go back in.
He is sooooo cute! I wish I knew they grew so fast. We do not have many pics that little. My husband took our puppy out every few hours during the night until we figured out how long she could go. We didn't want her to learn that crying would bring us running so we tried to beat her to the punch. Worked well for us. They say age plus 1hour and Riley always went longer to our surprise. Good luck!
