I just want to let our doodlekisses friends living in Irma's path, that we are thinking of them and hoping Irma dwindles down to not-much before hitting Florida.  We wish you blue skies.

Yes, we are hoping and praying that by some great miracle this hurricane misses Florida and the Carolinas and anywhere that horrible storm appears to be headed. I hope you have all prepared well and have a plan to stay safe.

My two nieces were on St. Kitt's when Irma hit.  They are safe, but what an experience!  The island turns the power off before the storm as a safety feature.  I'm sure we will hear more stories from them.  The oldest niece just went to start Veterinarian School, and her younger sister was there helping her get settled.  The youngest tried to fly home before the storm, but it was too late.  

All of the folks remain in our thoughts here in Michigan.  Sometimes snow isn't all that bad!

Watching Irma carefully.  I have several cousins in the Miami area and some friends in Florida.  Hoping for some miracle.
