Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum

Thank goodness Noah doesn't understand English because his manhood was in question today!  We were at the park and met a man with a very nice labradoodle.  After all of the small talk intro (where did you get your doodle?  What's your doodle's name?, etc.), Noah rolled over and the man said, "Oh, he's a girl?"  I said, no, he was fixed early - he's a male.  Noah was fixed at 3.5 months and his "manhood" stopped growing after that.  The poor guy doesn't look like a male unless you look closely lol.

Oh my goodness, I'm laughing right now. I have one of each....the problem is my Guinness has the same "equipment" as Noah, and the "baby" is extremely well endowed. I'm sure Guinness could easily be mistaken for a girl, but never Murph. The Vet told me that after his recent "surgery" I probably wouldn't be seeing the "manliness" in full bloom a hundred times a day like I have been. I'm not convinced at all....we're seeing it more than ever this week. It's happening so much it's even annoying him. It's downright embarrassing when he lies on his back, legs open, in this "state". So far the grand kids haven't seen it....I don't want to have to be the one doing their sex education. I wonder if it bothers Noah and Guinness? Do you think they feel inadequate? Now that I think of it, Guinness acts like a girl in many ways...he's very sensitive and sweet. I wonder if that's related. I have a feeling the responses could be very entertaining. Great question, Jane! LOL
This is cracking me up. Of course Peri is a girl, so it doesn't apply to us. But this discussion reminds me of the late family cairn terrier - he had a very very small manhood. Taquito's was always bigger. Wonder if Mr. Jake was ever jealous? hahaha....
Rosco is a man with a rocket. ROFL.
This is the MAIN reason I don't like Rosco shaved down:

I don't really need to see his manliness.
This is tooooo much!!!!
So funny, Adina. I need to try to get a picture of Murph in all his "manliness"....well, maybe not. It's really pretty gross. Have we ever thought about changing the calendar to feature male doodles? I'm thinking kind of like those "Firemen Calendars"....you know the ones where they are wearing speedos and carrying axes.
Well he may still need a shave down. And even if he's in full coat...I'm sure you've seen our "Red Rocket" discussions...those things don't always stay tucked away even in neutered males. Rosco's makes an appearance now and then and it ain't pretty!
Beauty is in the eye....
Ned is not a manly boy either and with all of that fluffy fur ....... Ned hasn't ever even tried to hump another dog, but now that we have our rescue, Clancy, who lifts his leg and marks (yuck), if Ned is watching him pee, then he will lift one leg ever so slightly... Obviously, Clancy has had a different upbringing and was 'exposed' to the dark side - hee hee
Sounds like Clancy has "been around". If we got Murph and Clancy together our DKrs would need to "lock their girls up".
Yes, I think so, Jane. We sure have some nerve exposing our sweet innocent boys to these brigands!!!
Winston was large boy before he was fixed. He was 9 months when he had surgery, and what is left is still large. He is the first male dog I have had that was not fixed before coming to live with us. He is 18 months and still not liftinmg his leg and only just started peeing whenever Freya stops to pee on a walk. Freya actually acts more like a male and marks many times on a 3 mile walk.
