We have all heard the joke, It is so hot...How Hot is it?, but it really is hot here in PA. Usually, there is a break in weather like this, but not this year. It just keeps getting hotter. So, while you are sitting under your fan or over top of the A/C vent, take a minute and fill in the blank.

It is too hot to clean...but I have spent from about 7:30 to now cleaning my house...on and off, with little DK lurking breaks.  It is much cooler so far today (only 87 right now) than it has been this past week, so that was nice.  I really wished I could have cleaned in just my underwear, but we have too many windows and no blinds on them.

 

I have to shower and hit the grocery store (when is usually VERY cool) before my sisters' flight arrives.  So, no Yappy Hour for me tonight.

Dori, Enjoy your sister's visit :)  Company is a lot of work sometimes.

Knowing Dori, which I kind of do by now, she has sisters who will pitch in.

They would, if I let them, but I don't.  Dawn's DH has Huntington's Disease and it is getting pretty bad.  She is a whopping 48 years old and is a caregiver.  She has to take him to the bathroom, shower him, get his food ready (he can eat...as long as a mess and accuracy don't count).  You can't understand most of what he says.  My other sister April, helps out special needs kids in school and has twins that just finished their first year of college.  She is always on the go.

 

So, when they are here, we cook together, sit out on the deck, watch movies, take in a few sites and just relax.  No stresses or things they have to do.

It is so hot, FJ is walking around with the meat thermometer to compare the news with the actual reading at our home.  What a game.  Of course the news is wrong.
