It's raining!

This is the first actual rain since April 1 (I know because that is the day we picked up Zeppo and there has been no rain since then).  There was a huge storm in Portland yesterday and it has moved south to northern California.  We definitely have needed it and hopefully it is the start of many storms.

Fat chance, but we can hope.  All the reservoirs are dry and the rivers and creeks running dry, but every little bit helps.  Hopefully this opens up the weather from the Pacific and we start getting some more rain.

JD says he wishes he could have sent some of the rain we've had here all summer (broke rainfall records!) to you folks out in CA. Says "They can have it!"

I know.  It really is amazing how different it can be in different sections of the country.  So far, two days in the last six months.  Hopefully more on the way.

Yay Lynda!  I am up here near you babysitting and dog sitting for a week while my daughter and her husband are vacationing in Hawaii!  I was so happy to see the rain.  It has been even longer with no rain in San Diego and this storm won't even make its way far enough south.  I love the rain and always have!!

Zeppo, however, will not go out in the rain.  This morning he peed on the mat at the back door.  He just didn't want to get his feet wet.  What a wus!

I used to have to push my son's doberman outside, stand with him, keep pushing him back onto the grass, until he finally went.  He hated water.

It has been raining in Oregon!! We are so thankful! Hopefully, this puts some of the wildfires out quickly.

Woo Hoo!  I'm in Reno this weekend and they are getting rain too.  I just saw that even Vegas is getting some.  It's soooo needed.
